BATESVILLE, AR- Blackburn College Women's Basketball team is defeated on the road by the Lyon College Scotts today in their last home game before they travel back to Carlinville. They drop to the Scotts 144-53.

Although the Beavers did not come out with the win, junior Ashanti Jones put up 16 points for Blackburn College, Brooklyn Driggers not far behind giving BC ten more points on the board, Driggers also grabbed five rebounds. Freshman Ella Wilson managed to get ahold of eight rebounds, five of those being defensive. 

The Beavers move to 3-9 overall and 0-5 in the Conference. They will return home for their next SLIAC matchup which will be Wednesday, January 10 at 5:30 PM in Carlinville, Illinois.
