The Baruch College Bearcats lost 60-49 to the Gothic Knights of New Jersey City University in a non-conference contest on Monday night.
The two teams were originally scheduled to play on December 2, but the non-conference contest was postponed due to weather issues.
Neither team shot the ball well this evening with the host Gothic Knights at 29 percent (23-for-80) and the visiting Bearcats at 31 percent (19-for-62).
Frances Synder nailed a three to cut the home team lead to 47-46 with under seven minutes left, but the Gothic Knights responded by scoring the next seven points to lead 54-46 with 3:07 left. That game-busting run stood as the biggest difference in contest to help the Gothic Knights to the non-conference victory.
Sameera Ahmed led the Bearcats with 11 points and Nia Dawson added 10 points and eight rebounds.
Dayjah Anderson was tops for the visitors with 19 points and 14 rebounds.
