ROCKFORD, IL - The Benedictine University women's basketball team did not trail in cruising to a sixth straight win at Rockford University on Tuesday night.

Casey Williams put the first points on the board, finishing a transition layup following a steal from Hanna Piro
Ahead by just two points at 9-7, Benedictine tallied the final six of the opening quarter, the first four of which came from Allison Michalski, to take a 15-7 lead
Elisa Diorio opened the second quarter with a jumper, continuing a run as Benedictine netted the first eight points for a 14-0 run and a 23-7 edge on a jumper from Michalski at the 6:16 marker
A three-point play from MaKayli Vann with 1:24 remaining in the half handed Benedictine a 20-point lead at 35-15
Benedictine outscored Rockford 26-8 in the second and led 41-15 at the half on a three from Claire Gibler
D'Asia Williams made it a 30-point game at 49-19 early in the third with a transition basket
A three from Britney Pitzer with 3:10 remaining in the third gave Benedictine a 60-21 lead and the team cruised to the finish

STAT LEADERS
Benedictine scored 58 points in the paint and received 27 second-chance points while converting 22 Rockford turnovers into 26 points
The bench scored 45 points as all 18 players saw the floor with 14 scoring
Michalski led all players with 19 points in 18 minutes of action, tallying nine rebounds and three blocks
D'Asia Williams and Vann each scored 10 points
