The Baruch College Bearcats swept the season series and stretched their win streak against their rival the Hawks of Hunter College to eight games with a 68-64 CUNYAC win on Tuesday night at the Hunter Sportsplex.

The Bearcats defense limited the Hawks to only 32 percent shooting (23-for-72), while the visiting Bearcats shot 46 percent (25-for-56) en route to the win.

Veronica Ganzi led all scorers with 25 points, while Kristen Podlovits had 18 points, two steals and two blocked shots.

Daniela Arias scored 15 points and tied a career-high with seven steals. Shannon Barrett tallied her 11th double-double of the season with 10 points, 11 rebounds, and three steals.

Theresa Leung led the home team with 19 points.
