Alfred University's women's basketball team falls to Bombers

 ALFRED, NY – Visiting Ithaca College defeated the Alfred University women's basketball team, 86-48, Tuesday evening in the Galanis Family Arena.
 
AU falls to 4-16 overall (1-10 Empire 8), while the Bombers improve to 16-4 (10-1 Empire 8).
 
Sophomore forward Amanda Off (New Berlin, NY/Unadilla Valley) had a game-high 16 points to go with five rebounds to pace Alfred.  Senior guard Emilea Harrison (Dansville, NY/Dansville) (eight rebounds) and sophomore guard Maddi Flint (Caledonia, NY/Caledonia-Mumford) (five boards) each scored 11 points for the Saxons.
 
Ali Ricchiuti (six rebounds, four assists) and Keri Steele each had a team-high 15 points for Ithaca. Erin Ferguson chipped in with 11 points and five boards.
 
AU is in action next on Friday, Feb. 6, at 6 p.m. at home against Empire 8 foe Nazareth.
