(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) – The second-ranked Thomas More College women's basketball team crossed the century mark for the third time this season tonight (Wednesday, January 14, 2015) as it defeated Geneva College, 101-38, in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game at the Connor Convocation Center in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.

With the win, the Saints improve to 14-0 overall and 7-0 in the PAC.  With the loss, the Golden Tornadoes fall to 4-10 overall and 2-5 in the PAC.

With the game tied at 6-6 with 18:18 to play in the first half, the Saints went on a 52-17 run to build a 58-23 lead at halftime when junior guard Olivia Huber (Woodlawn, Ky./Newport Central Catholic).  Thomas More shot 71.9 percent from the field (23-of-32), including 58.3 percent from behind the arc (seven-of-12) in the first half.

The Saints shot 50 percent from the field (16-of-32) , including 66.7 percent (eight-12) from downtown in the second half as they out-scored Geneva, 43-15, to cruise to the 101-38 victory.

For the game Thomas More shot 60.9 percent from the field (39-of-64) and 62.5 percent (15-of-24) from behind the three-point arc (15-of-24), while defensively, forcing 29 Golden Tornado turnovers.

Junior guard/forward Sydney Moss (St. Albans, W.Va./Boone County (Ky.)) led all scorers with 22 points, while freshman guard Abby Owings (Independence, Ky./Simon Kenton) added 15 points.  Sophomore forward Kaylee Bush (Middletown, Ohio/Madison) led the team on the boards with five rebounds, while Moss, senior guard Sydni Wainscott (Erlanger, Ky./Simon Kenton) and junior guard Kiley Bartels (Southgate, Ky./Newport Central Catholic) led the team in assists with five each.

Thomas More returns to action on Saturday (January 17) when it hosts fellow PAC co-leader Saint Vincent College.  Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. inside the Connor Convocation Center in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.
