Plymouth, N.H.-Junior guard Stephanie Coro (North Providence, RI) scored a game-high 24 points, collected nine rebounds and swiped four steals on Saturday afternoon as Rhode Island College defeated Plymouth State University, 81-51, in a Little East Conference women's basketball contest and the regular season finale for both schools at Foley Gymnasium.

RIC (19-6, 9-5) wins for the fourth straight time and will be the No. 4 seed in the 2011 Little East Conference Women's Basketball Tournament. The Anchorwomen will host No. 5 UMass Dartmouth in quarterfinal action on Tuesday, Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. RIC's 19 wins tie the 1984-85 edition for the second-most single season victories in program history.

The Anchorwomen's nine conference wins are the most since the 1997-98 squad went 11-3. Plymouth State (8-17 overall, 1-13 LEC) sees its season come to an end in the loss.

Coro made 10-of-22 shots from the floor for her 24 points, while junior forward Rachel Riley (Coventry, RI) powered her way to a double-double, her 16^th of the year, with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Sophomore guard Ashley O'Dell (Lincoln, RI) chipped in with 10 points and seven boards as RIC outrebounded PSU, 49-39, by 10.

Freshman guard Stephanie Prusko (Lincoln, RI) chipped in with nine points, four steals and three assists.

The Panthers were led by senior Amanda Kania (Manchester, NH), who topped the team with 14 points and 10 rebounds, her fifth double-double of the season. Kania, who was recognized before the game as the team's only senior, wraps up her career with 1,302 points, second on PSU's all-time scoring list. Freshman Kellie Walsh (Londonderry, NH) also scored 10 points for the Panthers, and sophomore Colleen O'Hara (Otego, NY) chipped in with nine points and six rebounds.

The Anchorwomen led the entire game, but didn't put the Panthers away until midway through the second half. RIC maintained a double-digit lead much of the first half, and owned an 11-point margin (40-29) at the intermission. PSU scored the first seven points of the second half, six coming on three-pointers by Kania and O'Hara, but RIC outscored the home team 22-4 over the next eight minutes and coasted home the rest of the way.
