ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's basketball team sealed the regular season sweep of Gwynedd Mercy University with a 61-45 win on Wednesday evening in Atlantic East Conference action.

Jalen Vaughns led three Knights in double-digits with 17 points while grabbing 16 rebounds for a double-double. Tony James and TJ Lewis each netted 10 points.

Over the first 14 minutes of the game, the teams were tied six times and saw five lead changes. Knotted at 17, KJ Speller hit a layup-and-one to start nine straight Neumann points. The Knights finished the first half scoring 11 of the final 13 points for a 28-19 lead at the break.

The Knights held a lead ranging between 8-14 points throughout most of the second half. Neumann went 4-for-4 from the line in the final minute for the 61-45 win.

Neumann (12-6, 4-1 Atlantic East) will host Centenary on Saturday afternoon with tip-off coming after the women's game as part of a doubleheader.
