Pegues finished with 22 points, nine rebounds and four steals in 38 minutes. Mount St. Vincent matches its best start in program history.

No. 7 Virginia Wesleyan started fast against Shenandoah and cruised to its tenth win of the season, this time by a score of 76-48. The Marlins scored the first 11 points of the game. No. 11 Wabash picked up its tenth win of the season in style. Marcus Healy hit a three-pointer with four seconds left to give Kenyon a 60-59 lead. But Derek Bailey answered with a bomb of his own at the buzzer to lift the Little Giants to victory 62-60. Watch his game winner here.

Marietta is the last undefeated team in the OAC after rolling over Otterbein 72-54. This matches the Pioneers' best starts in program history. They are also alone in first place after Ohio Northern upended No. 17 John Carroll 68-66. Scott Schnelle's free throws with seven seconds left sealed the Polar Bears' win.

J.C. Cruse scored 33 points to lead Albion past No. 19 Carthage 93-88 in overtime. The Britons outrebounded the Red Men 44-29. Steve Djurickovic had 40 points in the loss for Carthage. No. 25 Ramapo scored a big win in the NJAC over Richard Stockton 68-64.

Outside the Top 25, Transylvania cooled off Rose-Hulman 66-63, breaking the Engineers' six game winning streak. The Pioneers built a 23 point first half lead and never trailed. Both teams are a game behind Hanover in the early stages of the HCAC race. Grant Pangallo's floater with five seconds left lifted Hanover past Defiance 80-78.

Women's action

No. 13 Illinois Wesleyan went to Wisconsin and defeated No. 18 UW-Stevens Point 76-72 in Saturday's marquee women's matchup. The Titans converted 18 of 19 free throws while the Pointers only made 12 of 22. UW-Stevens Point beat Illinois Wesleyan in the sectional semifinals of last season's NCAA tournament.

Cherelle Simmons' fifth double-double of the season paced DeSales to a 58-47 win over Messiah. The Falcons, who were ranked No. 15 in the preseason, slip to 4-4 while the Bulldogs move to 5-4.

The third try against a Top 25 team was the charm for Richard Stockton. After losing to No. 1 Amherst and No. 16 Muhlenberg earlier this season, the Ospreys defeated No. 14 William Paterson 61-52 in NJAC action. Julia Fagan posted 19 points and 15 rebounds for Richard Stockton.
