Pool B's bounced, champs survive

Pool B wasn't necessarily expected to have much of a presence or a deep run in the NCAA Division III men's basketball tournament, but to get swept in the first round was a surprise.

The biggest surprise was Elms, however, losing to the NEAC champion, SUNYIT, 85-77 behind Diloo Brown's 21 points and David Golembiowski's 20. Elms, which was 26-1 during the regular season but played just one NCAA Tournament team in a region full of them, fell in the first round.
