The Colonials held the Huskies to four second half field goals and eased to a 61-44 victory. Western Connecticut's last loss was November 22, 2008 against Bowdoin while Southern Maine has dropped two straight.

Caitlin Barganier nailed a three-pointer at the buzzer to shock No. 19 Howard Payne 59-56, ending the Yellow Jackets' 42 game home winning streak. Landie Thompson's steal with eight seconds left set up the Crusaders' winning shot.

Kelsey Hendrickson hit a three-pointer to give No. 3 UW-Whitewater a key two-possession lead in a game that had 11 ties and 11 lead changes. The Warhawks held on to win 69-63 at UW-Stout. It was only the fourth time this season that the Titans (14-0, 4-0 CCIW) won by less 10 points. Top-ranked Rochester remained unbeaten, defeating St. John Fisher 56-42 for the Chase Tournament title. Brian Morehouse won his 300th game at Hope as the No. 9 Flying Dutch dispatched Olivet 73-42.

After shooting 28 percent on Friday night, No. 14 Moravian shot just 33 percent but made enough free throws to hold off Goucher 69-66. No. 17 Messiah picked up a big road win at Lebanon Valley 69-47. Mike Strong picked up career win 698 on the road as Scranton beat Catholic 86-52.

The other two unbeaten teams in the Top 25 stayed that way relatively easily. No. 4 Amherst rolled past Connecticut College 79-53 and No. 11 George Fox cruised past Linfield 75-49. The Bruins got more good news when Puget Sound upset No. 23 Whitman 69-66. George Fox leads the NWC by two games over the Missionaries and Whitworth.

St. Mary's (Minn.) snapped a 19 game losing streak dating back to last season by topping St. Olaf 65-62. Eight players reached double-digit scoring, led by Kristen Camuso who scored 34 to push Centenary past Baptist Bible 94-86. Bianca Booker's jumper with 3.1 seconds left was the difference when Bridgewater (Va.) edged Washington and Lee 70-69.
