F&M goes down at McDaniel

No. 11 George Fox improved to 14-0 behind 17 points from Kristen Shielee in an 80-55 win against Pacific. Trinity (Conn.) lost for the first time this season, falling at home to 8-5 Babson 54-45. Massachusetts College beat Salem State for the first time since the 1980-81 season, 59-57.

John Grotberg got just 10 points as Grinnell beat Lake Forest 88-72. It's 17 points lower than any previous Grinnell scoring output this season but nothing new for Lake Forest, which held Grinnell to 88 points in one of the team's meetings last season.
